Curbside Pickup Information

Smith Library print books are available for curbside pickup from the library Monday through Friday between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Print books check out for eight weeks with an option of a two week renewal. Please see the following video for instructions for completing a book cart order.

You will receive a student email when your order has been processed. If you do not receive an email within a few hours, please contact the library. Your order may not have been received. (Please note: You must send your cart order to library@lutherrice.edu spelled correctly, with no other email addresses added, to successfully send a cart order.)

Please include in your cart order notes when you plan to pick up your items. Please allow the staff at least an hour to process your order. (If you order the night before, your order may not be ready until 10:30 AM the following day.)

When you arrive to pick up, please park in the marked library pickup spot on the left side of the first parking lot. Remain in your vehicle and call the number posted on the sign to let library staff know you have arrived. A staff member will bring the materials to your vehicle. Stay safe and well!
